HKR Heat Strip

HKR electric heat kits are made for Goodman® brand air handlers and packaged electric units. These heat kits have built-in overcurrent protection and nickel chromium heat elements.

A thermal expansion valve is a component in refrigeration and air conditioning systems that controls the amount of refrigerant flow into the evaporator thereby controlling the superheat at the outlet of the evaporator. Thermal expansion valves are often referred to generically as "metering devices".
